Cilia Adela Flores de Maduro made the remarks in the joint scientific meeting of Iranian and Venezuelan scholars in Tehran's Shahid Beheshti University.
She added in her speech in Shahid Beheshti University that she is happy to be in Iran and in the meeting.
The wife of the Venezuelan President cited the information presented at the meeting with Iranian scholars as confirming that the Islamic Republic's strength in science and technology, saying: "as the late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said, 'we will be victorious in this field'".

She stressed the importance of concluding MoUs on scientific exchanges and nuclear energy, noting that Iran and Venezuela both have a common path that can defeat US imperialism and win the battle.
