Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei made new appointments to six top military posts, including the head of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
The Leader appointed Major General Ali Abdollahi as Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces. He also appointed Brigadier General Kiumars Heidari as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Leader appoints Major General Ahmad Vahidi as IRGC Chief Commander.
The commander-in-chief of all Iranian appointed Major General Mostafa Izadi as deputy commander-in-chief of the IRGC.
Furthermore, he appointed Rear Admiral Ali Ozmaei as commander of the IRGC Navy.
Moreover, Leader appointed Hossein Taeb as head of the IRGC Basij Organization.
