The top Iranian diplomat stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran, just as always, remains beside the Syrian government and nation.
Amirabdollahian further reiterated that the aggressive acts of Israel against the Syrian infrastructures, including airports, ports and other important and vital centers of that country are not only obvious breaching of the Syrian territorial integrity and national sovereignty, but also broad violation of the entire international rules and regulations and human rights.
He also considered the unacceptable and sorrowful silence of many countries, the international society, and the regional and international organizations in encountering such terrorist acts, saying it is a big shame.
The Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad, for his part, thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran’s constant support for the Syrian nation’s resistance against the Zionist regime aggressive acts, emphasizing that such hurried, terrorist and aggressive acts of Israel in the region is a sign of the usurper Zionist regime's horror and weakness.
He said that by disturbing the regional peace and stability, the Zionists are in fact trying to hide their own instable and fragile status that is truly miserable.
The Syrian foreign minister added that the Israeli aggressive attacks are also aimed at strengthening the remainders of terrorist group mercenaries, such as Daesh (the ISIS) and Al-Nusra terrorists, which is of course of no avail.
Mekdad at the end emphasized that such aggressive move will also further strengthen the will of the Syrian nation and government more than ever before.
